The first impression that you try listening to this CD, at least that I said some fans, is that it is "very little Guns." Maybe, maybe not. In my case, my first impression was of pure listening pleasure. It differs, indeed, from previous albums, but I can not find a bad thing. Personally, I'm pretty tired of those singers that kind of output retuned always the same songs. Chinese Democracy is a beautiful album with beautiful songs, which might also like to not lovers of the old guns. If I had to choose an adjective for the album, call it "meditative". Certainly, there seems to an old album of the same group restructured, that after fifteen years of silence would have seemed almost an insult, at least in my view. So if at first you do not seem to even listen to them, thank heavens someone sometimes you invent something new and keep going, you'll find that under the old zest for Guns.
