landed in Honolulu still on time, early in the morning. We understand that you have come the most touristic island of Hawaii we have a beautiful tail of the Alamo Car Rental, which with the other islands there was no success!
brief tussle with the chick who wants to convince us that the strong economy sux, picking up the car (a small wrangler convertible) given that the economy had really finished (do you understand the wise guy?) And departure to Kailua, where you will find our B & B.
Sharon, I felt the night before the arrival time, there is find a room ready as the two girls who went away very soon occupied so we can fix things before leaving on our exploration of the island. We wanted to leave immediately for the north coast but due to bad weather (that way you can already see the clouds from Kailua promising at all) we decide to change the program. We descend from Kailua to Honolulu along the east coast, engaging in a bit 'of beach. The first stop we make in Waimanalo Beach, which unfortunately we can not see why the clouds as we arrived shortly after us, raising a strong wind! So let's run away in search of sun, but even in bad weather when you see this beach really deserve a break. After the Makapuu Point seems to be another island, the sun shines bright and having left behind the bad weather we stop at Sandy Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen throughout the holidays.
The beach is golden and the waves are not too loud call to the bathroom.

After the bath, we decided to follow the same road to see Hanauma Bay, the beach came from a collapsed crater with a beautiful coral reef. Also, in my opinion it lacks the particularity of the other beaches of the archipelago: it is very Caribbean, with the calm and warm water pool type, so it is probably a good place for bathing of who does not like the ocean waves and shook.
Shortly before sunset we leave to get to Hanauma Bay in Honolulu, we want to take a stroll to Waikiki beach with the clear, and we hope to take advantage of the moment between "those who leave the beach" and "those who come for the evening" to find no parking and traffic the car easily, preferably without paying. Succeed in both aims: we can also put the car in about ten minutes walk from the beach, so we can not complain.
After a little 'souvenir and a good hamburger in one of the many places on the main street, back to the car to return to Kailua. Unfortunately,. When we get to the car we have a bitter surprise: the satellites on Oahu all look dumb, and our browser is useless. April 23, 2009 Today, when we wake up time is again threatening to the North, but as the day it will be the last to Oahu we decided not to risk that tomorrow will be worse. After lunch we go to Honolulu from internal road, because we want to make a visit to Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. The monument is nice, although I must say that I appreciated them more inside the museum, rich in historical, rather than a visit to the Monument.
The end of the day is a replica of the previous evening we arrived in Honolulu a bit 'late this time, and we do a little' tail but we were again lucky with the car and we can park without paying.

Today Ohau time seems ugly again: it seems that we just have to go and spend the day on Waikiki Beach, the only place that seems sunny island. And so it is in fact .... despite the storms that there are neither right nor left, the sun shines on the beach undaunted. We spend the morning relaxing in between baths, sleeping and reading. After lunch we leave the beach for the Alo Moana Center, where we want to do some 'shopping before returning home. I have my list of what we brought from Italy and serves here costs much less: sneakers and jeans in particular, as well as a few things electronic including a car charger for our palm tommy integrated with the its battery begins to weigh his four years of life is not lasting longer throughout the day.

We go to dinner from Kailua Buzz'soriginal steakhouse, recommended by Sharon (in addition to the Rough): eat some good ribs in barbecue sauce with salad buffet and even if the final little sum is a bit 'salty ($ 50 with tip but we knew it, the guide was one of the most expensive) and eat really well then it's still the end of the holiday.
